Dishman NL offers a number of pharmaceutical products such as Vitamin D analogs and, Vitamin D products which ensures the right concentration of calcium and phosphorus in the blood. Active pharmaceutical ingredients are used for the treatments of such illnesses as Rickets, Osteoporosis and Psoriasis. Besides these products we also offer Cholesterol HP which is used in liposome drug delivery systems.
Cosmetics:
Dishman Netherlands key cosmetic products are Dusoran which is used for hair care (colourants, conditioners, treatment) and skin care; and Cholesterol NF which is used for crèmes & lotions.
Food:
Vitamin D is important for a healthy bone structure. Its addition can prevent a shortage of calcium and phosphorus. It is sometimes added to milk, butter and chocolate products.
Animal Nutrition:
Vitamin D is essential for animal nutrition in premixes and compound feeds; it is indispensable for the intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
Shrimp Farming:
Cholesterol is an essential ingredient in diets for shrimp farming. Its addition enables shrimps to gain weight faster and reduces susceptibility to diseases by strengthening their immune system. Dishman NL has two products. Cholesterol SF is especially used in the early stages of the growth process because of its defined particle size; whilst XG is particularly used for the grow-out phase.
