Dishman Vitamins & Chemicals invests in a new production facility.
DISHMAN INVESTS IN THE FUTURE!
Dishman Vitamins & Chemicals invests in a new production facility in order to expand its product range. Besides the production of cholesterol and lanolin derivatives Dishman Vitamins & Chemicals will focus on the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API’s) and intermediates for use in the formulation of drugs. The new production facility will enable continuation of the production of the current Vitamin D analogs in our program as well as room for expansion for production of other API’s.
Vitamin D analogs are applied in treatment of Psoriasis, Osteoporosis and rickets. Cholesterol is applied in the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, animal nutrition and as raw material for Vitamin D3.
In order to realize the production facilities the site at the Nieuweweg will be restructured. The new facility will be build inside the currently existing building and will start in May 2009. The project will be realized before the end of this year by cooperation with Van Spanje Bouwbedrijf and Techtron.
